CXMT starts domestic production of DDR5 and LPDDR5X RAM !
With its DDR5, the brand offers memory in densities of 16 Gb and 24 Gb, with speeds reaching 8000 MT/s. This RAM will be available in a whole range of memory modules, including UDIMM, SODIMM, RDIMM, CSODIMM, CUDIMM and TFF MRDIMM. From this, we understand that this memory is aimed at applications such as consumer PCs, laptops, servers, etc., etc..
As for LPDDR5X memory, this time we’re talking about modules with densities of 12 Gb and 16 Gb, all reaching frequencies of 10667 MT/s. All this translates into 12 GB, 16 GB, 24 GB and 32 GB capacity modules. We’re targeting the laptop and embedded sectors, as well as AI, which is very LPDDR5X-hungry.
CXMT already has customers including Asgard. Indeed, the Thor kit uses memory chips from the Chinese company, which was among the first to offer CUDIMM-type DDR5 to accompany the launch of Intel’s Arrow Lake processors.
