With this series, the brand concentrates on its core PC memory sales, with a kit that grinds at 6400 MT/s, while featuring a compact and discreet heatsink. Pricing remains to be seen, but when you see the prices of the Pro series, you’d think there was a way to get affordable RAM with features in the sweet spot!
Crucial Pro Overclocking: memory that spins at 6400 MT/s!
If you’re familiar with Crucial’s Pro series memory, you’ll be quite familiar with it. In fact, the brand has retained the same heatsink shape, with a slight change to the pattern, which offers a kind of camouflage. In all cases, the RAM is available in black or white. There’s no RGB here, which contributes to a maximum height of 35 mm. Ideal if you have a CPU air-cooler.
As far as we can tell, Micron offers memory capacity per module of 16 or 32 GB. As for frequency, we’re talking 6400 MT/s with timings of 32-40-40-103-143, all with a voltage of 1.35V. These parameters are easily accessible by activating the XMP or EXPO profile via your motherboard bios.
Now that RAM has only just been announced, it will be some time before it is widely available on the market. But it can already be found on Amazon at a price of €126.99 in black against €131.99 in white by selecting Amazon as the other seller… The only concern is the long delivery times, due to a lack of stock.
