One i500: pre-assembled PCs with wooden front panels!

Corsair One i500

This i500 has already been the talk of our columns, as this is already the third article we’ve devoted to it. However, things are now official, and we can now lay our eyes on Corsair’s visuals.

The case will indeed feature a wood veneer front panel. Two shades are proposed, one light and the other darker, similar to walnut.

Internally, the 18.5 (W) x 30 (D) x 39.1 (H) cm case features a micro-ATX configuration. As we mentioned earlier, this is equipped with a B760 chipset that won’t allow overclocking via multiplier, which is a pity given the chosen processor: a Core i9 14900K cooled by a 120 mm AIO. On the other hand, for warranty reasons, this can be explained.

Aside from this, the PC comes with a large graphics section, featuring an RTX 4090, the best graphics card currently available. For cooling, this card benefits from a 240 mm AIO.

For storage, 64 GB of dual-channel 6000 MT/s DDR5 are installed, along with a 2 TB PCIe SSD. As for the power supply, a 1000W SFX block in 80 Gold is included.

Now, there’s only one thing to keep in mind: the price. Indeed, this machine retails for $4,700 on the brand’s website!
