Corsair has announced its new M55 mice, available in wired and wireless versions. The program includes small, basic mice, but sometimes you don’t need much more.
M55: a Corsair mouse that cuts to the chase!
With this mouse, Corsair offers us a rather basic reference with a black shell devoid of RGB lighting. In the same vein, don’t expect a reference packed with buttons of all kinds, since once the main clicks and scroll wheel have been set aside, you’ll find only two additional side buttons.
Otherwise, the shape is rather simple, and the mouse measures 62 (W) x 118 (D) x 38 (H) mm. The wired version weighs 55g , while the wireless version weighs 85g, including the battery.
Internally, the specification sheet is straight to the point, with this reference featuring an optical sensor capable of withstanding accelerations of 35G with a tracking speed of 300 IPS and a sensitivity of up to 16,000 DPI. As far as clicks are concerned, we know that they have a lifespan of 60 million activations. Finally, in terms of autonomy, the wireless model is equipped with a battery offering 185 hours of autonomy via SlipStream and 400 hours via Bluetooth.
Finally, we’d like to mention the very attractive price of this model, which is announced at $29.99 for wired and $49.99 for wireless.
