Cooler Master has unveiled a new CPU cooler: the V8 Ace 3DHP. This is a single-tower cooler, but it’s particularly imposing in size. On the other hand, it features 3DHP technology, which allows for the addition of a third arm on a single heat pipe. This enables a more uniform distribution of heat within the radiator itself, minimizing cold spots where heat doesn’t reach. At the same time, it features two 120×30 fans, ensuring a substantial airflow.

V8 Ace 3DHP: Cooler Master’s new CPU cooler!

A V8 in yourPC

Cooler Master V8 Ace 3DHPWith this cooler, Cooler Master offers a CPU cooler with a particularly sleek design, as you can see. In fact, the top section immediately brings to mind the cylinder head covers of older BMW engines, for example. Clearly, we find this design original, and it really makes an impression.

But beyond the design, what stands out are its dimensions, which are anything but compact. In fact, this model measures 138.95 (L) x 136.47 (D) x 167.3 (H) mm. The weight isn’t specified, but it’s definitely a hefty beast given its internal structure. It features a copper base with a total of six heat pipes running through it: four standardheat pipes and two 3DHP heat pipes.

Cooling is provided by two 120×30 mm fans, both constructed from LCP for greater blade rigidity. Furthermore, the two fans feature different designs, and the rear fan has reverse-curved blades. As for speeds, be warned—it spins fast:

  • Front:
    • Speed: up to 2,500 rpm
    • Airflow: up to 89.6 CFM
    • Static pressure: up to 3.8 mmH₂O
  • Rear:
    • Up to 2,050 rpm
    • Airflow: up to 61 CFM
    • Static pressure: 2.0 mmH₂O

Prices:

Price-wise, this model won’t be cheap—far from it. In fact, depending on the retailer, the price can exceed €100. Also keep in mind that there are two versions of the CPU cooler: one for AMD and one for Intel. The difference lies in the shape of the copper base, which is designed to better fit the shape of Intel or AMD processors!
