Cooler Master GA2501: a display that gets straight to the point

Cooler Master has just unveiled its new 24.5-inch FHD display, the GA2501. The refresh rate is 100 Hz and it features “Adaptive Sync” technology. It’s a monitor that’s all about simplicity, because yes, it’s all about the essentials.

Key features of this monitor

It features a 24.5-inch IPS panel, with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. A refresh rate of 100 Hz on HDMI, and 75 Hz on VGA. No, it’s not a clerical error, it’s a screen with a VGA connector! The design is equally simple, but it does feature a tilt function. This allows the screen to be tilted between -5° and 15°. It incorporates a low-blue-light display mode, reducing harmful exposure to light.

Brightness is 250 nits, contrast 1,500:1. Impressive response times of 1 ms (MPRT) and 4 ms (GtG). Viewing angles are 178° horizontally and vertically. As for colors, the data sheet indicates DCI-P3 at 84%, ” Adobe RGB ” at 84% and ” sRGB ” at 109%. The IPS panel adopts 8 bits (6 bits FRC) capable of delivering 16.7 million colors.
