A new motherboard from Colorful: the CVN Z7950D5 Ark Frozen. This is an ATX model in white/silver. The board is also designed for 12th, 13th and 14th generation Intel Core i systems!
CVN Z7950D5 Ark Frozen: new white card for Colorful!
This new board is in ATX format. It is also equipped to accommodate current-generation Intel processors. A total of 14 1 1 power supply phases with 90A DrMOS are used to power the CPU, all mounted on an 8-layer PCB.
In detail, this model features four DDR5 memory slots. The board can accommodate up to 192 GB of memory running at 7800 MT/s.
The PCIe part is rather complete, featuring four slots configured as follows:
- 1x PCIe 5.0 x16
- 1x PCIe 4.0 x16 (works in x4)
- 1x PCIe 4.0 x4
- 1x PCIe 3.0 x1
As far as storage is concerned, we have four SATA connectors, as well as four M.2 slots operating in PCIe 4.0 x4.
Last but not least, the network is based on a Realtek 2.5 GbE chip, while the card boasts WiFi and Bluetooth 5.3 support. As for audio, we don’t know which chip is at work, but we do know that it manages 7.1.
