A little news from DeepCool, who are offering us a new case reference. The brand is unveiling its CH690 Digital. This reference is a little unusual in that it features half a rear panel that can be either mesh or glass for added style.
CH690 Digital: even more tempered glass from DeepCool!
As you can see, with this new case, the brand is going for an aquarium-style design. This model features two glass panels that meet without a pillar at the front. However, the special feature of this model is the possibility of adding a third half-glass panel at the rear. This junction is also made without a pillar, for an unobstructed view. However, with this in place, the rear fan slot is closed!
In terms of dimensions, the case measures 240 (W) x 516 (D) x 481 (H) mm. Internally, it will accept motherboards in ATX format at most, all of them backpannel type. Otherwise, it is compatible with CPU fans 182 mm high, graphics cards 450 mm long and power supplies 188 mm deep.
Ventilation can be substantial, with numerous fan slots. There are ten 120/140 mm slots distributed across the top, on the power supply cover, on the right of the motherboard slot and at the rear. As for compatibility with AIO radiators, 420 mm is mentioned at the top only.
To satisfy your storage needs, the brand puts forward a total of three slots, one of which is 3.5″/2.5″ compatible… The other two are for 2.5″ units only.
Naturally, as with the digital version, there’s a small digital display on the side of the case. This provides information on CPU/GPU temperature and fan speed.
Prices start at 699 yuan (~€92) in black and 799 yuan (~€105) in white.
