At this year’s CES, Corsair is announcing a new case reference with its Frame 4000D. Indeed, the company is keen to repeat the success story of its original 4000D, whose sales figures are staggering: 2 million units sold, according to the brand! To this end, the camera is back with a number of improvements!

Frame 4000D: a new version!

With this new body, we return to a reference in the same vein as the original 4000D… But it brings its own share of improvements.

In fact, this new model offers a degree of modularity with its various removable panels, including the front panel, the top section, the power supply cover and the motherboard tray. The latter features the necessary openings to make it compatible with backpanel boards. Otherwise, the fan rails can be easily adjusted to accommodate either 120 mm or 140/160 mm models.

Otherwise, we find increased watercooling compatibility with the possibility of mounting two 360 mm radiators, one at the top, the other at the front. You can also place one next to the motherboard, provided you remove the cable cover on the side.

In terms of component compatibility, the brand announces support for ATX/E-ATX motherboards. As for the graphics card, there should be no problem, since this model is certified compatible with the new GeForce RTX 50. As for the ventirad, nothing has been said yet, but we expect at least 160 mm models to be supported.

Finally, the storage section features a dual slot for 2.5″ and 3.5″ drives. Either two 3.5″ hard disks, four 2.5″ SSDs or one 3.5″ and two 2.5″ can be fitted. In addition, the rear storage board features a dedicated slot for the brand’s iCUE Link controller, facilitating integration.

Of course, this model is available in white or black. By default, this case is offered without fans at a price of €99.90. If you’d like fans as standard, with three RS120 RGBs, the bill rises to €119.90 from €124.90 with three RS120s.
