Biostar offers a new motherboard that should delight even the smallest budgets. Indeed, the A620MT is a board designed for small budgets, as evidenced by its ultra-sleek appearance. All the more so as the board is equipped with an A620 chipset designed for low-budget boards!

A620MT: a card for small budgets!

Biostar A620MTBiostar offers us a motherboard in micro-ATX format. As you can see, the board’s appearance is very uncluttered, with no VRM heatsink in particular. Only a small chipset heatsink and markings on the PCB adorn this model.

Connectivity has also been reduced to a minimum. There are two DDR5 memory slots for up to 96 GB of RAM at 6000 MT/s. For PCIe, we’re content with a single x16 4.0 port, complemented by a small x1 3.0 connector. Otherwise, for storage, we have four SATA III and one M.2 in PCIe 4.0 x4.

At the rear, connectivity is based on two HDMI and DisplayPort video outputs. These are supported by a bios flash button, four USB-A 3.2 Gen1 and two USB-A 2.0. Finally, audio is based on a Realtek ALC897 chip, while networking is based on Realtek RTL8111H in 1 GbE.

For the moment, the price is not known, but it shouldn’t climb very high.
