Like MSI, the Biostar brand is also reacting to the Ryzen 7000X3D CPU voltage controversy. Indeed, the brand offers a new batch of bios whose aim is to preserve CPUs as well as motherboards. The method does not change since the company also applies reductions in the various voltages related to the processor.

Ryzen 7000X3D: Biostar also reacts with new bios!

Biostar Ryzen 7000X3D mise à jour biosBiostar updates its AM5 motherboards to preserve the X3D CPUs mounted on them. This concerns the X670E Valkyrie, Racing B650E GTQ and B650M Silver.

Finally, this new update acts more or less like the one from MSI. The brand simply restricts the different voltages applied to the processor. This concerns the CPU Vcore Voltage, the CPU SOC voltage and the CPU MISC Voltage.

If you have followed our previous articles you already know that too much voltage applied to 3D V-Cache processors can be fatal. The very design of the CPU makes voltages a little too high will create overheating damaging or even killing the CPU and possibly the motherboard. Hence these recent bios releases to limit the risks.
