At MSI, the AM5 motherboards support 192 GB of RAM!

At MSI, we find a whole new batch of bios for its AM5 motherboards. Of course, these are still mostly focused on Ryzen 7000X3D. But there is also a new feature that does not go unnoticed: the support of 24/48 GB memory modules. The brand offers support for 192 GB of RAM on its AM5 cards, cutting the ground from under the feet of Asus where the feature was teased last month.

This new batch defines a safe limit for the CPU SoC Voltage applied to processors equipped with 3D V-Cache memory… But this also concerns the regular Ryzen 7000, so there are suspicions that these chips could also be affected.

The other big news is related to RAM. Indeed, the brand brings support for 24/48 GB memory modules to its AM5 motherboards. If you want, you can install up to 192 GB of memory on your board. Similarly, ITX models will be able to take up to 96 GB of RAM, compared to the current 64 GB.
