ASUS Pro - CPU AMD

The ASUS Pro ER100A B6 is a 1U rack server equipped with an Epyc 4004 processor. Its compact format makes it easy to deploy in large numbers.

The ASUS ExpertCenter Pro ET500A B6 is a workstation in tower format. It features an AMD processor based on Zen 4 architecture, DDR5 5600 MT/s memory, two M.2 SSDs and an RTX Quadro graphics card.

CPU AMD - ASUS Pro W665-ACE

However, what interests us most here are the new motherboards announced by ASUS. On the program is the Pro WS 665-ACE, an entry-level ATX-format board. It is designed for cloud and data center applications.

This model features a socket and memory slots oriented at 90°, for better cooling? In any case, this model features three PCIe 4.0 slots, with the first slot running at x16 and the last two at x4. Otherwise, there are two Oculink PCIe 4.0 x4 slots and an Intel I225-LM network chip. Finally, to power the graphics cards, we find a small 6-pin PCIe at the bottom of the board.

The Pro WS 600M-CL is a somewhat unusual reference. Indeed, this card has no chipset. This means that connectivity is managed directly by the processor. This card is intended for light professional use. Nevertheless, the card does feature four memory slots, one PCIe x16 slot and two M.2 slots. Finally, Oculink also appears to be present. It’s hard to describe the board’s connectivity on the basis of a simple thumbnail! Note that this is also a micro-ATX board, with the socket and memory oriented at 90°.
