This morning, we learn that ASUS is unveiling its new graphics card, an RTX 4060 Ti Dual SSD. This is the famous card equipped with an M.2 interface to accommodate an SSD. This slot is located directly on the card’s PCB.
RTX 4060 Ti Dual SSD: a card with an SSD slot!
At first glance, this is a beastly 4060 Ti Dual, but on the back, at backplate level, the card features an M.2 slot capable of accommodating an M.2 2280 SSD. What’s more, this slot features a PCIe 5.0 x4 interface, enough to support the fastest storage devices on the market. As for cooling, this takes advantage of the airflow provided by the card’s heatsink.
The GPU is a slightly overclocked RTX 4060 Ti from the factory. Via the OC profile, the card will reach 2565 MHz, compared with 2535 MHz for the reference card. However, the 8 GB memory has not been touched, and is still rated at 18 Gbps.
Finally, connectivity features one HDMI 2.1a and three DisplayPort 1.4a. Power supply will be via an 8-pin PCIe, while the card will occupy 2.5″ of space in a case… A rather compact reference!
For the moment, we don’t know the retail price.
