ASUS has announced a new series of all-in-one watercooling kits, the Max Gaming LC series. Broadly speaking, these kits are very similar to the Prime LC series, but with a screen that allows a little more customization
Max Gaming LC: “++” entry-level AIOs?
With these kits, we find AIOs available in black or white, all equipped with a 360 mm radiator. On the pump side, we find an IPS screen with a diagonal of 2.4″ . The latter will, of course, be used for system monitoring, displaying temperature, voltages, and so on. But contrary to the Prime LC series, you will be able to display .gif .
Otherwise, the kits in the series come with pre-mounted fans as standard, which also benefit from a serial connection. These will operate from 0 to 2500 rpm, generating an airflow of 70.88 CFM and a static pressure of 3.55 mmH2O at full capacity.
As for the pump, it will operate up to 3400 rpm, and that’s the only thing we know about it. No infos about the water flow or anything else.
As for compatibility, ASUS is sticking to the main mainstream sockets. From now on, it will only be possible to mount these kits on LGA-1851/1700 and AM4/5 sockets . Out go the older platforms, such as LGA-1200/115x, etc.
Finally, in terms of design, we can clearly see something rather similar to the Prime LC LCD series, with a rectangular screen integrated on top of the pump. However, on the side, we can see a Max Gaming reminder, the name of this series.
For the moment, we don’t yet know the selling price or availability.
