ASRock’s RX 7000 Creator now official!

Initially unveiled at Computex this year, then confirmed for the first time on the ASRock website, the RX 7000 Creator boards are now official. In layman’s terms, we’re talking about RX 7900 boards with a blower-type heatsink and a 12VHPWR-based power supply!

RX 7000 Creator: ASRock puts its technical data online!

ASRock RX 7000 CreatorWith these boards, ASRock installs blower heatsinks on the RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT. The aim here is to offer compact boards occupying just two slots in a case. This is clearly useful for professional applications requiring multiple graphics cards.

However, if the brand opts for a blower heatsink, the latter is minimally worked. For the occasion, it features an imposing steam chamber covering the card’s heating elements. These include the GPU, memory and power supply stages. The brand also uses high-quality thermal pads for the VRMs. Finally, a semi-passive fan… Which is likely to run frequently.

In terms of frequencies, the cards operate at :

  • RX 7900 XT Creator: up to 2395 MHz boost
  • RX 7900 XTX Creator: up to 2500 MHz boost

Basically, they run at reference frequencies… It’s hard to go any further with a cooling system of this type.

All that remains is to find out the selling price:
