ASRock PGO: three OLED screens, two QHD!

ASRock PGO OLEDASRock is offering us three screens with its PGO32UFS, PGO27QFS and PGO24QFV models.

As you’ll have guessed, the top-of-the-range model of the three is the PGO32UFS, which boasts the largest panel. However, this panel also boasts a higher resolution (3840×2160), although responsiveness will not be at a disadvantage, with a frequency of 240 Hz in UHD mode compared with 480 Hz in 1080p mode. In all cases, we have a screen with a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1 and a brightness of 275 nits, with peaks of 1,300 nits in HDR mode. Here, the display is 10-bit.

As for the 27″ models, the PGO27QFS will feature a QHD WOLED panel, like the 32″ model. The latter benefits from a refresh rate of 240 Hz with a latency of 0.03 ms grey to grey. Contrast here reaches 1,500,000:1, while brightness (275 nits at base) peaks at 1,300 nits. This is a screen that will be capable of displaying 1.07 billion colours, covering the DCI-P3 and sRGB ranges at 99% and 129% respectively.

On the other hand, the PGO27QFV will also benefit from an OLED panel, but this time of the QD-OLED type. This model will be more responsive than the other two, with a frequency of 360 Hz and a latency of 0.03 ms grey to grey. However, brightness will be slightly lower with 250 nits and peaks at 1,000 nits. However, contrast is still at 1,500,000:1. Finally, colour gamut coverage is 99% in DCI-P3 and 138% in sRGB. It will display 1.07 billion colours.
