Lots of motherboard updates this morning, this time from ASRock. However, unlike ASUS and MSI, the aim here is not to update Intel motherboards. No, the company is concentrating here on its AMD models, with the aim of improving support for Ryzen 9000!
ASRock improves Ryzen 9000 support!
ASRock is updating its AM5 socket motherboards with a new bios. The latter contains the AGESA 1.2.0.0a code, which improves compatibility with AMD’s latest Ryzen processors. Clearly, this update applies to the entire range of AMD boards. You should be able to update your board equipped with X670(E), B650(E) and A620 chipsets .
To do this, as always, you’ll need to go to the brand’s website, retrieve the product sheet for your motherboard reference and go to the support section. Then, via the bios tab, you should be able to download the latest version.
The update procedure remains simple: download the bios and paste it onto a blank USB key formatted in Fat32. Go to the bios, find the Instant Flash utility, select the right file and off you go. Of course, to avoid any problems, don’t shut down the system!
