DeepCool is introducing a new CPU cooler designed forSFF (Small Form Factor)PCs. To maximize its performance, the brand has incorporated a vapor chamber into the base of its AN600 VC (as seen at its Computex booth). Thanks to this design, the heatsink can effectively cool processors with a TDP of up to 220 W! This product will be in direct competition with Thermalright’s AXP120-x77, with an advantage in terms of height.
AN600 VC: 67 mm tall and features a vapor chamber!
Compact and high-performance?
With this cooler, DeepCool sets a new standard for compact CPU coolers. It measures 122 (W) × 120 (D) mm, with a height of just 67 mm—1 cm shorter than Thermalright’s latest model. Furthermore, the DeepCool heatsink stands out thanks to a vapor chamber at its base, which allows it to more effectively capture heat emitted by the CPU.
Also part of the heatsink design is a thin stack of aluminum fins, through which a total of six 6-mm-diameter, “C”-shaped copper heat pipes run. This design also allows for the installation of RAM modules up to 40 mm in height.
As for cooling, there is a single slim fan that is only 15 mm thick. This fan operates at 500 to 1,850 RPM, generating an airflow of 61.56 CFM and a static pressure of 1.97 mmAq. This fan also features nine relatively thin blades with a slight curve, while the central hub has a transparent window through which the motor’s shaft and poles are visible.
Price: 299 yuan!
The price in China is 299 yuan, which converts to about 38 euros and change. Once again, expect a significantly higher price in Europe due to various taxes and import fees. For example, DeepCool’s current AN600 is available for just under 50 € at PC Componentes.
