Zen 6 is on its way, and it shouldn’t be long before we hear official news about the next evolution of AMD’s architecture. In fact, during the RAISE Summit—Paris AI Summit 2026—Mark Papermaster, AMD’s executive vice president and chief technology officer, announced that a presentation would be made at the Advancing AI 2026 conference. The conference will take place on July 22 and 23.
Will Zen 6 be announced this July?
Unfortunately, no details have emerged from this announcement!
This announcement, however, sets an official framework for the arrival of AMD’s future processors, even though the company hasn’t revealed anything further. It did not mention any specific models or new features related to the architecture. However, it did emphasize that Zen 6 will be the sixth version of the architecture since its introduction in 2017. In short, for now, we only know that they will be unveiled soon and that we should learn more about the new features they’ll bring.
That said, it’s worth noting that the Advancing AI conference is primarily aimed at industry professionals such as developers and, more broadly, the tech industry. While AMD has indicated that it will unveil its future processors at this event, we can also hope to hear a few words about its upcoming GPUs or its AI-dedicated accelerators.

Of course, while the company has not yet released any official information,leaks and rumors are circulating about this new series. For now, it’s believed that the company will use redesigned CCDs with an increased number of cores. This generation will see an increase from 8 to 12 cores. In theory, we should see processors with 24 cores in the consumer market. At the same time, the L3 cache is also increasing, in proportion to the rise in the number of cores per CCD. Finally, while performance details have not been disclosed, we can expect them to increase significantly—as indicated by the Geekbench leak shared earlier this morning!
