Alphacool announces a stealth fan with its Apex Stealth. With this new reference, the brand announces the quietest fan on the market, no less. But to achieve this, the company is pulling out all the stops, from steel frames to decoupled blades.
Apex Stealth: THE quietest fan on the market!
With its new fan, Alphacool offers us a 120 mm mill with ultra-polished construction. It features a metal zinc frame in a range of colors. Alphacool fans are available in Chrome, matte black, white and gold.
To achieve golden silence, the brand features a decoupling system for the metal frame via a rubber gasket. This keeps vibrations to a minimum. The motor should also be inaudible, thanks to its HDB (Hydro Dynamic Bearing).
As for their characteristics, these are fans which, in their basic version, operate from 400 rpm to 2000 rpm. At full speed, airflow reaches 76.81 CFM, while static pressure rises to 3.88 mmH2O. Not enough power? A Power version is also available with even higher speeds. Here, the fan speed rises to 3000 rpm, with airflow now reaching 116.89 CFM, while static pressure is an impressive 6.22 mmH2O.
In terms of price, the fans aren’t even that expensive: whatever the model, they cost around €30. We’ve seen more expensive fans than that just for RGB.
