Let’s talk about the screen with the announcement of AOC which offers its Agon Pro AG245FG. It is a monitor with a very high refresh rate with its IPS panel of 360 Hz! If you can’t see beyond 24 fps, there’s no need to buy this little gem!
Agon Pro AG245FG: 360 Hz on an IPS screen!
With this new monitor, AOC is going all out for responsiveness, despite the presence of an IPS panel. Indeed, we have a refresh rate of 360 Hz and a response time of 1 ms gray to gray. Besides, we are talking about a 24″ flat model with FHD resolution (1920 x 1080). In addition, we can see the presence of the “Screen Shield”, eliminating a maximum of reflection on the slab.
Now, it’s hard to say more, especially about brightness or contrast. As strange as it may seem, AOC does not communicate these values on its data sheet. We only know that this screen is capable of displaying 16.7 million colors and that it has an HDR400 certification.
On the other hand, we know that it is compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync and NVIDIA Reflex technologies. Similarly, the brand announces a low input lag and six game modes: FPS, Racing, RTS, Game 1 and Game 2. We will also find a remote switch facilitating the adjustment in the OSD of the monitor, avoiding us to struggle with the buttons located under the frame of the latter.
Finally, we will find an RGB lighting system at the back, two 5W speakers with DTS sound decoding. The stand will be adjustable in height ±13 cm and can project the Agon logo on your desk. For the aficionados of the multi-screen, the borders are thin.
