For its part, the MSI brand is updating three of its PCs to include twelfth-generation Core i. This is notably the case for the Aegis, Trident and Codex machines. And you’ll see, the brand offers us rather muscular configurations!

Aegis : i9 12900K and RTX 3090 for the flagship of MSI !

With this machine, we find everything that the brand knows how to do best in terms of integration and functionality. Indeed, MSI opts for an original design with a power supply integrated directly into the foot of the PC. Inside, we have a compartmentalized design with a chamber for the processor and its cooling and another for the graphics card. Finally, on the front, there is a smart wheel with a custom design that can even be used to launch certain applications.

Inside, we can find a muscular configuration, very muscular even. As for the graphics card, the brand announces an RTX 3090, which is the best in the NVIDIA catalog. As for the CPU, we’re going with a Core i9 12900K, the biggest model of this generation. The RAM is up to 128 GB at 4400 MHz and for the storage, we have a 3.5″ slot and two others in 2.5″.

Trident X : a compact but powerful PC !

With the Trident X, MSI offers us a compact machine, but also powerful. Inside, we have a graphics card that installs vertically, above the motherboard slot. This allows the machine to have a contained width of 13.7 cm and a height of 41 cm.

COUGAR offers us the FV270

On this model, the configuration will be a little less muscular than on the previous machine… At least for the CPU part. Here, the manufacturer announces a Core i7 12700K at the maximum. Otherwise, we find the same endowment in terms of GPU with an RTX 3090. On the RAM side, we go to 64 GB in 4800 MHz maximum with two 2.5″ slots for storage.

Codex X5 : a more traditional machine !

Finally, with the Codex, MSI offers us a PC in a format that we all know since it is, roughly speaking, a medium tower PC. However, the general aspect remains neat with a glass side panel and RGB inserts on the front.

Internally, we find the best of the best with the Core i9 12900K and 128 GB of RAM at 4400 MHz. The same goes for the GPU, which features an RTX 3090 and a storage part based on two 3.5″ units and two 2.5″ units.

Of course, the price and availability are still to be known.
