New machine to join the catalog of the manufacturer Minisforum. The brand specialized in the world of mini-PCs announces its Neptune HX99G. An update of the HX90G which is equipped with a Ryzen 9 6900HX and a RX 6600M as a graphics card!
HX99G: a muscular configuration in a mini-PC!
As usual, the brand uses an ultra-compact case to house its configuration. The latter measures 20.5 (W) x 20.3 (D) x 6.93 (H) cm, without the stand.
However, this does not prevent the brand from putting an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX CPU in eight cores and 16 threads. As a reminder, this is a processor that will grind up to 4.9 GHz in boost. As a graphics card, we find an RX 6600M with 1792 stream processors, 112 TMU and 64 ROP. It is supported by a total of 8 GB of GDDR6 clocked at 14 Gbps.
To cool everything, we have the right to an imposing heatsink with seven copper heat pipes. Two fans are present on top and will cool everything. And as a TIM, the brand uses liquid metal!
Several memory/storage configurations are proposed with :
- Barebone: without RAM or storage.
- 16 GB RAM + 512 GB SSD
- 32 GB RAM + 512 GB SSD
- 32 GB RAM + 1 TB SSD
- 64 GB RAM + 1 TB SSD
Prices range from $1029 for the barebone and go up to $1509 for the 64GB RAM and 1TB SSD version.
