Nex C53: A unique and affordable case at Xeron!

Clearly, the world of computer cases seems to be embracing a new trend with a new type of chassis. So, following the compartmentalized aquarium-style cases, we’re now seeing cases where the power supply is mounted at the front along the length of the case, as on Geometric Future’s Model 5. This Nex C53 fits this new layout perfectly.

Nex C53: A case that’s right on trend!

A power supply that mounts at the front, lengthwise!

This new layout allows for practical—and, above all, very compact—cases. In fact, this new model measures 235 (W) x 435 (D) x 435 (H) mm. Inside, the chassis is compatible with ATX,micro-ATX, and mini-ITX motherboards. Better yet, it also supports BTF-style motherboards. Similarly, in terms of components, there is 425 mm of clearance in length for the graphics card and 180 mm in height for the CPU cooler. However, due to its placement, you’ll need to pay attention to the depth of the power supply: only 160 mm.

Ventilation should be effective since it uses a chimney-style design. Cool air is drawn in from the bottom, while hot air is expelled from the top. This model can accommodate up to seven 120 mm fans, while four are included as standard: three at the bottom and one at the rear. Also worth noting is the inclusion of an adjustable mount for the bottom fans.

Finally, for storage, there is a mounting plate at the back of the motherboard tray that allows for the installation of one 3.5″ hard drive or two 2.5″ drives.

Affordable prices:

As for retail prices, the black version costs $65, while the white version is priced at $70. There’s also a micro-ATX version, the Nex C33, which features a lower profile and supports micro-ATX motherboards at most, but offers the same compatibility for the rest of the components. Price-wise, it’s more affordable at $60 for the black model and $65 for the white one.
