Core DDCzero: a new product line from Alphacool!Â
The DDCzero pump, a compact model:Â
With this new pump, Alphacool offers a compact design, though it’s slightly larger than their DC-LT. In fact, this new model has a diameter of 46 mm and a height of 24.20 mm. In any case, it operates via PWM, with speeds ranging from 3,000 to 4,800 RPM. Power consumption remains very low: just 6.2 W, while it delivers a flow rate of 220 L/h with a head of 1.4 m.
The Perfect Match: Small Tanks
In addition to the pump, the brand is launching compatible reservoirs. There are three of them, each with a different capacity.
The Flat Reservoir 90 is the most compact of the three, measuring 93 x 63 x 44.10 mm. It also features five G1/4″ threads and a fluid capacity of 26 ml. This model is designed to be compact and to fit into an SFF PC, for example.
Next up is the Flat Reservoir 140, which is slightly larger, measuring 143 x 63 x 44.10 mm. Once again, it features five G1/4″ threads, but its capacity has increased to 70 ml of fluid.
Finally, the largest of the three is the Flat Reservoir 200, which measures 203 x 63 x 44.10 mm. It has the same number of G1/4″ threads as the other two, but offers the largest liquid capacity: 76 ml.
In all cases, these models are constructed from acetal and acrylic. Alphacool has paid close attention to their design, which, as you can see, is very appealing… We really like them.
Prices:
In terms of retail prices, note that the pump alone costs €69.98, while the reservoirs are more expensive… But they all come with the same pump as standard. In fact, the small model costs €159.98, the medium version €179.98, and the largest reservoir €199.98.
