A new case from ASUS, announcing a limited edition of its PA602. Indeed, the brand is launching its ProArt 60 PA602, a version that incorporates walnut, but also exterior parts that turn brown. The aim? To standardize the exterior appearance of the case. Otherwise, this version uses the same base as the original PA602.
ProArt 60 PA602: a limited version with wood and a brown exterior!
Basically, this new version of the case comes with wood elements, but more precisely walnut. Walnut is used on the front panel, around the air vents, and on the top handles. As a reminder, the handles can bear a weight of 30 kg.
What’s more, this version comes with a brown exterior. This means that the plastic elements making up the front panel, as well as the various metal parts (panel, ventilation grille, etc.), are finished in this color. However, some covers, controllers and Velcro fasteners remain in black.
Otherwise, there’s no change to the functionality of this model, with dimensions remaining identical: 245 (W) x 593 (D) x 560 (H) mm. At 15.8 kg, the weight is as substantial as ever. Naturally, ventilation is as powerful as ever, provided by two 200×38 mm front-mounted fans. The power button lock is also included, as is the infrared sensor for front filter dusting.
Clearly, in terms of aesthetic choice, this is a case that will easily match fans and ventilators from Noctua. Especially the brown/beige models.
As for the price, we know that pre-orders are open in the Middle Kingdom and that the posted price is 2199 yuan which, after conversion, gives us ~270 €. We also know that raw conversions from yuan to euro are unreliable… The In Win DLite, for example, will cost ~80 € and not 120 € !
