Corsair launches its long-awaited new accessory, the Xeneon Edge screen. The Xeneon Edge is what we’d call an “add-on” screen, and it’s sure to come in very handy. If you’re a streamer, for example, you can display your Twitch chat on it without needing a second screen. The same goes for work, where you can display essential information, etc.
Xeneon Edge: Corsair launches its small 14.5″ screen!
With this screen, Corsair offers us a new reference with a 14.5″ diagonal. It also boasts a generous 2560×720 resolution, and is touch-sensitive.
The best thing about this screen is that it uses a magnet system, so it can either be mounted on a stand to take its place on your desk, or you can put it inside your PC case. The key is to have the equivalent of a 360 mm radiator slot free. For example, you can mount it vertically, next to your motherboard, in a very convincing way.
Of course, when it comes to settings, you can orientate the display: portrait or landscape. Connection is via USB-C and/or HDMI connectors. In terms of utility, it’s up to you to choose what suits you best. You can use it to monitor system information, for example. In the case of streaming, you can display your chat or different color palettes if you’re drawing on your computer, for example. Of course, iCUE support is also included, allowing you to configure the whole thing.
Unfortunately, we don’t yet know the price, although it will be available in stores from the fourth quarter. In the meantime, the brand has announced its immediate availability on its own website.
