A new case from Lian Li, who are offering us a genuine new reference and not just one of their 50 PC-O11 variations… No, this time it’s a new version of the A3 (already available in wood, but in black), a reference in micro-ATX format with a sober, uncluttered look and wood on the front. It’s a truly classy model that’s now available in white!
A3: the micro-ATX case with a wooden front now in white!
The A3 is a very compact model, measuring 194 (W) x 443 (D) x 321.5 (H) mm. As you can see, the design remains very sober and uncluttered, in a Scandinavian style with its front panel incorporating wooden elements. However, this model is now available in white.
Inside, the case offers a motherboard tray compatible with references in micro-ATX and mini-ITX format. However, despite its compact size, it has enough space inside to accommodate a 165mm-high CPU cooler and a 415mm-long graphics card. As for the power supply, compatibility with SFX and ATX blocks is guaranteed.
If you want to fit a watercooling system, you should know that compatibility with radiators goes up to 360 mm. In fact, this model can accommodate a total of 10 fans in 120 mm: 3x at the top, 3x at the bottom, 1x at the rear and 3x at the side via a removable plate.
In terms of storage, this model offers a total of three slots. Of these, two are 2.5″ and are located on the power supply unit support. Otherwise, at the bottom, there’s a 2.5″/3.5″ slot.
Finally, the case offers a degree of modularity, especially when it comes to the power supply. Depending on the format of your block, you can install it vertically on the front, or on the side of the motherboard. What’s more, you can choose the height of the case according to the size of your graphics card.
Now, while the regular version can be found on the market for around €100, it remains to be seen what the bill will be for this white wooden version.
