Yesterday, Corsair launched a new keyboard, the K70 Max, which has been renewed in this high-end version. The keyboard returns with magnetic switches whose accent point height can be adjusted to suit your needs.
K70 Max: an adjustable accent point!
As a reminder, the accent point is the distance from which the keystroke will be taken into account. For example, on Cherry MX Red switches, the accent point is 2 mm. You’ll need to press the key 2 mm before the keystroke is registered.
With Corsair’s keyboard, this distance can be adjusted to your liking via the brand’s software. It can be set very short: 0.4 mm or very long: 3.6 mm. To achieve this, the company relies on magnetic switches with a very smooth descent.
Alongside this, you’ll find a full keyboard with all the keys and dedicated multimedia functions. The brand opts for quality materials such as aluminum for the cover plate and PBT for the keycaps. A padded wrist rest is also included.
Internally, the brand brings out the heavy artillery with an 8 MB memory capable of storing up to 50 profiles. The polling rate is 8 MHz, and there’s also fullAnti-Ghosting and NK-Rollover.
Now, you’ll have to contend with a hefty bill of around €230.
