The G.Skill OC World Cup is a major annual overclocking competition held in Taiwan. This year’s winner was Seby9123 who came out on top and took home the big prize. However, despite his performance on memory overclocking, many other records were broken, so let’s take a look!
OC World Cup, summary of records :
Of course, the first score we’ll remember is Seby9123’s performance in memory overclocking . In fact, during the grand final, he set a new world record by pushing his G.Skill kit to 11240 MT/s ! To achieve this, he used a Core i9 13900KS and an Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Apex motherboard.
Otherwise, the scores on Y-Cruncher Pi-1b with 12-core and 16-core CPUs stand out. Splave clocked times of 13 secs 70 ms and 10 secs 659 ms on these tests… Before Safedisk regained the lead with scores of 12 secs 974 ms in 12 cores and 10 secs and 179 ms for 16 cores.
Then we have Cinebench R20 where Luncky_n00b typed 14036 cb with a 13600K. Again with this CPU, he recorded a time of 51 secs 590 ms on GPUPI fo CPU – 1B and 5 mins 9 secs and 813 ms on Y-Cruncher Pi-10b with 10 cores. On the other hand, it’s easy to break the record when you’re the only one competing in the in the category 😉
Finally, TSAIK took first place in the 14-core CPU category in CPU frequency with a Core i5 13600KF overclocked to 8425.66 MHz.
