MSI announces a new PC preassembled by them with the MAG META 5 5E. In fact, we find a relatively powerful machine based on AMD Ryzen 5000 CPU and RADEON RX 6000 GPU.
MAG META 5 5E: a machine preassembled in AMD!
Finally, with this machine, MSI updates its MAG META 5 by opting for more recent components. Indeed, as a processor, we find a Ryzen 7 5800X supported by a RADEON RX 6700 XT at best. The previous generation of PCs was satisfied with a Ryzen 3000 CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2000 graphics card.
The rest of the configuration features a motherboard with an AMD B550 chipset, which can accommodate up to 64 GB of RAM and an M.2 SSD in PCIe 4.0 x4. Moreover, as far as storage is concerned, the PC has two 2.5″ slots and three others in 3.5″.
As far as cooling is concerned, there shouldn’t be any big problem at this level. Obviously, you can choose between air cooling and liquid cooling. It remains to be seen what form all this will take.
As for the case, as you can see, it has a side glass and a fairly smooth front. However, an RGB lighting controlled by Mystic Light is part of the package. Regarding the dimensions, this model displays 195 (W) x 594 (D) x 466 (H) mm, all for a volume of 40l. You should also know that the power supply offers a power of 500W in 80+ Bronze or 750 in 80+ Gold.
