The RTX 5090D HOF: 3650 MHz = new world records!

The OGS team is behind these new overclocking records. Indeed, we’re talking records, in the plural sense, as the team breaks scores on 3D Mark Port Royal, Unigine Superposition and GPUPI v3.3 32B. The hardware used? A Galax RTX 5090D HOF XOC and a bios that breaks the card’s power limit . This combination is unforgiving, and the card’s frequency explodes (and so do the scores).

RTX 5090D HOF XOC: three new world records!

RTX 5090D HOFOf course, for this exercise, we’re back to top-of-the-range hardware, but above all it’s designed for high frequencies. As far as the platform is concerned, we’re talking about an ASUS Z790 Apex motherboard coupled with a Core i9 14900KF processor. The graphics card is an RTX 5090D HOF XOC, a custom model designed for overclocking. The PCB features a redesigned power stage and two 12V-2×6 connectors capable of delivering up to 1200W of power to the GPU.

In short, once the gear is in the hands of people who know what they’re doing, frequencies rise and scores fall. Thus, on GPUPI 3.3 32B, the card reaches a crazy 3650 MHz. On the other hand, the score obtained was 39.434 s, a new record!

On the other two benchmarks, the card’s frequency was not as high, reaching 3570 MHz on Port Royal and 3540 MHz on Unigine Superposition. Nevertheless, two world records were set, with 47469 marks on Port Royal and 38237 pts on Unigine Superposition.

Here, the card was running on an XOC bios, which pushed the power consumption limit to 2000W – yes, that famous bios. What’s more, even VRAM was boosted to 36 Gbps, compared with the default 28 Gbps. This boosts bandwidth from 1.792 TB/s to 2.304 TB/s.
