Vulcan II Max: new generation of keyboards from Roccat!

Roccat Vulcan II MaxIn the program, we find a mechanical keyboard with 104 keys… In other words, all the keys are present, from the numeric pad to the navigation keys. Moreover, it comes in two colors: black or white.

Vulcan series, we find the design of the brand with low profile keys “floating”. The lighting will be well highlighted on this model because the switch is clearly visible. Moreover, the RGB will also be reflected on the transparent wrist rest thanks to diffusers positioned on the edge.

For the switches, Roccat opts for its in-house switches based on Titan II Optical. Two sensations are proposed: linear with red or tactile with brown. In both cases, a force of 45g will be required for activation. Nevertheless, the point of accentuation is shorter on the linear: 1,4 mm against 1,8 mm for the tactile.

Of course, we still find the famous multifunction wheel proposed to the series as well as dedicated multimedia keys. Other features are available via a combination FN + something.

Internally, the keyboard has a memory of 4 MB for saving 5 profiles of use. The polling rate is 1000 Hz, the N-Key rollover is included, as well as full anti-ghosting.

Unfortunately, the keyboard is not cheap, as it costs €229.99 on the brand’s store.
