This benchmark is an integral part of the Benchmate software, which we also use for Cinebench tests. The advantage of this tool is that it is validated by Hwbot and can therefore be used to encode your scores directly onto the platform.
7-Zip, as its name suggests, is a file compression and decompression benchmark. You can either use the one available directly in the 7-zip utility, which will give you a compression score and a decompression score. Here, with 7-Zip 19.0, the result is an overall score that takes into account compression and decompression performance. Here too, Benchmate is free, so you can evaluate your score with your configuration.
The score obtained with our R7 9800X3D enables it to outperform the i5 14600K and the Core Ultra 5 245K.
