Speed and noise

Fan speed :

So we start our series of temperature readings. Here, we start from scratch. Let us specify the fan speeds recorded during our readings (for 12V, 8V, 5V):

Vitesses ventilateurs

As usual, we start by recording the operating speed of the three FK120s. In this respect, they display the most classic operating speeds forAIO fans. Indeed, we read some 2200 rpm at full speed, a little less than those of the LS720. Nevertheless, they will be faster at mid speed and at low speed. We’ll have to see what this means in concrete terms on the sound meter.

Noise:

Bruit

As far as noise is concerned, the LT720 knows how to be discreet, especially at low speed where we noted 30.5 dB. However, if we push towards mid-range, the noise rises a notch and it becomes more audible than its predecessor the LS720 to end up being quieter at full speed!

Anyway, it is far from being the noisiest watercooling kit we have tested. This is a good thing for the future.
