Corsair offers with this Hynix A-die kit an excellent DDR5 kit even if the increase in frequency is reflected in the price. This Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 7200 MT/s CL34 kit is currently priced at $549.99 on the Corsair website. The performance out of the box and with the XMP profile is excellent and it is one of the best kits we have had in our hands in DDR5. The overclocking potential is also excellent as we managed to reach a frequency of 8200 MT/s in CL34. The interest of this kit equipped with Hynix A-die chips is especially its overclocking potential which allows it to become even more interesting. Now, don’t forget that the BMI of your processor is also to be taken into account and that it might not accept to boot with a too high original profile. We hope to tell you more about this in the coming weeks. As for the price, Corsair is more expensive than the competition and this is the only criticism we can make. A more aggressive price and it would be a no-brainer!

- The look of the heatsinks with an aesthetically pleasing RGB
- The quality of finish of the memory modules
- The quality of the RGB backlight, probably the most beautiful of all our kits
- The second best performing DDR5 kit we have had in our hands!
- The excellent overclocking potential of the Hynix A-die chips and the BIOS of our APEX
- The lifetime warranty
We would have liked:
- A more important availability, difficult to find them in stock
- A more aggressive price compared to the competition
Corsair offers with this Dominator Platinum RGB 7200 MT/s CL34 a kit that has many assets. First of all, the quality and the aesthetics of the memory sticks which are for us, certainly the most beautiful of the market. The performance of the XMP profile is simply excellent and the overclocking potential allows to explode them. The only downside is that the price is higher than the competition, which may penalize it except for the brand’s addicts who will not be able to resist the temptation to buy it.
