Unpacking:
Let’s start by opening the package we received direct from Alphacool France. The box containing the cooling system arrived in a cardboard box, perfectly protected to avoid any inconvenience during unpacking.
Alphacool’s packaging is very attractive, and the box, with its rather imposing dimensions of 420 x 360 x 140 mm, contains very little information on either side. So let’s get to work opening it to discover its contents.
Once the box has been opened, we can see all the components needed to install this liquid cooling system. The first thing we come across is the full-colour installation manual, translated into three languages: German, English and French. The instructions are very clear and are also available directly from the Alphacool website. A very good point! It’s also worth noting that all the components are housed in a pre-molded cardboard box, protected by a transparent plastic film and a few foam plates.
Here’s what’s inside our Eiswolf 2 AIO box: an Eiswolf 2, a NexXxoS ST30 360mm radiator, three Rise Aurora 120mm fans, a mounting set, twelve 6mm M3 screws, twelve 30mm M3 screws, a PWM Y-cable, an aRGB cable and a clamping tool.
Let’s take a closer look at each of these components on the next page.
