At Asus, we find the announcement of a new entry-level motherboard. This one has the particularity of being in mini-ITX format. In short, here is the Prime H610i-Plus D4, a model with DDR4 memory slots!
Prime H610i-Plus D4: an entry-level ITX!
With this new model, we find a mini-ITX card equipped with an Intel H610 chipset and a LGA-1700 socket. However, we stay on a rather basic power supply circuit with 5+1+1 phases.
Who says ITX says necessarily limited connectivity and this is what this card offers. Indeed, we only have the right to two memory slots in DDR4 at 3200 MT/s. The same goes for PCIe with a x16 port operating at the 4.0 standard. Finally, for storage, we can count on four SATA III and one M.2 in PCIe 3.0 x4.
The I/O panel will also be limited to the bare essentials since there is a PS2 combo. Two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.2 Gen1 are also present. On the other hand, the brand is going all out for the video outputs with an HDMI, a DisplayPort and a VGA. Of course, the Ethernet is present as well as the audio in 7.1. However, no idea of the chips used here.
Anyway, this model should be around 150 € from what we can see on the Net.
