Small news from Cougar Gaming which announces the arrival of a new keyboard. It is a mechanical model with an optical switch. Nevertheless, its particularity is to offer an ultra limited height: 2 cm maximum. In short, this is the Luxlim!

With its new keyboard, the brand offers a mechanical model, but especially slim. Indeed, the total height of this reference is only 2 cm counting the keys. However, with such a thickness, it is necessary to have a rigid set, which is why we find an aluminum construction.
Moreover, the good ideas include a magnetic foot system to manage the tilt of the keyboard. Also, the USB cable is detachable, so it’s easy to move around.
Otherwise, this model comes with low profile optical switches. Two choices are available with a linear model and another clicky. In all cases, the point of emphasis is 1.7 mm on a total stroke of 3 mm. However, the reds will require a force of 55 g for activation, against 60 g for the blues.
Finally, there will be no software management, everything is done via shortcuts, directly integrated into the keyboard.
