KC3000: Kingston SSD faster than light!

Kingston KC3000With this new series, the brand offers us models in M.2 2280 format. These are available in 512 GB, 1 TB, 2 TB and 4 TB versions. Internally, as we said, the brand opts for a Phison E18 memory controller coupled with a PCIe 4.0 interface and TLC Nand memory.

The 2Tb and 4Tb versions have a read/write speed of 7Gb/s. The 512GB and 1TB models will be a little bit slower. We are talking about 3.9 GB/s and 6 GB/s respectively in writing.

Regarding the IOPS, we are facing SSDs reaching the million IOPS in reading and writing. Once again, the 512GB and 1TB versions have 450,000 to 900,000 IOPS.

The launch of these models should take place on October 25, but the prices are still unknown. As for the warranty, we can expect it to last 5 years.
