K70 RGB TKL: Corsair ‘s keyboard now with in-house optical switches!

Corsair K70 RGB TKL OpticalWith this new version, the brand keeps the qualitative materials of the original version. Thus, the brushed aluminum faceplate is still there, as well as the PBT keycaps . Note that the latter have an increased resistance to polishing. As its reference suggests, we find a TKL model, without the numeric keypad. However, this allows it to gain in compactness since it measures 360 (W) x 164 (D) x 40 (H) mm. Otherwise, it has all the paraphernalia of a high-end gaming keyboard. It has an integrated memory of 8 MB to save up to 50 profiles. Likewise, the integral anti-ghosting as well as the N-Key Rollover are present. The poling rate, via Axon technology is 8000 Hz, which allows very low latencies on paper. Finally, and this is what makes this version special, are the optical switches. As a reminder, these are linear switches with an emphasis point located at 1 mm. Their lifespan is very long since it is announced at 150 million activations. We end with the price which is clearly not within the reach of all. To afford this model, you will have to pay 169.99 €.
