When DDR5 was launched, Teamgroup announced its Elite DDR5 kits. However, last year, the maximum frequency offered by the brand was 4800 MT/s, which is the base frequency of the standard. Now, one year later, the brand offers new kits and this time they can go up to 5600 MT/s!
Elite DDR5: Teamgroup’s memory goes up to 5600 MT/s!
In the program, the brand offers new variations of its “basic” memory. Indeed, we find there the simplest strips, without heatsink, nor lighting or other. However, they should ensure a good compatibility with CPU fans because of their limited size.
As for the characteristics, the first thing to remember is the increase in frequency of the series. Previously limited to 4800 MT/s, it is now increased to 5600 MT/s while keeping an operating voltage of 1.1V. However, Teamgroup has not forgotten about laptops either and is also offering its memory in SO-DIMM format.
At the moment, we do not know the selling price yet. For the availability, we talk about a launch in July for the United States on the official store of the brand on Amazon.
