Today, we learn that NZXT announces the arrival of a new power supply. Indeed, the brand launches its C1000, a model displaying an important power, in 15 cm of depth!
C1000 : 1kW in 15 cm depth !
With this new model, the brand offers us a power supply in ATX format with a depth limited to 15 cm. Good news, at least, it will fit in a maximum of cases! Otherwise, we find a fully modular cable management, a good point to facilitate the wiring.
On the electrical level, it is difficult to say what we are dealing with since NZXT is not very talkative on this subject. We only know the certification: 80+ Gold, the current of the only 12V rail which is 83.5A or that the active PFC offers a power correction factor of 0.96.
Before moving on to the connectors, note the presence of a 135mm fan with semi-passive operation.
As for the connectors, we find the indispensable 24-pin ATX and the two EPS12V in 4+4 pins. The GPU part has six PCIe 6+2 pins while for storage we have only six SATA and six molex. Strange that NZXT did not provide more of these connectors.
Finally, the bill comes to $179.99 and the warranty is 10 years!
