AMD should be in the spotlight for the opening of Computex next week. According to TechpowerUp, the company will not only be talking about its upcoming Ryzen products, but will also be unveiling several chipsets for its upcoming AM5 platform at the show. According to this information, AMD will offer three different chipsets for the AM5 platform at launch: the X670E, X670 and B650. Hopefully, the presentation of these chipsets will take place simultaneously with Zen 4 during this Computex.

Zen 4 computex The X670E will be a special “Extreme” edition of the X670 chipset, the real difference being that it will have mandatory PCIe Express 5.0 support for the graphics card and M.2 NVMe SSD slots. The X670 would make do with PCIE 4.0 for storage…These three chipsets will be manufactured by ASMedia.

Computex 2022: Zen 4, RDNA 3, Chipsets…What Else?

Today AMD updated its dedicated Computex schedule with an invitation to the upcoming keynote on May 23. The description of Lisa Su’s keynote is now more detailed as it states that AMD’s CEO will speak about the company’s vision for “next-generation mobile and desktop PC innovations.” Without playing with the crystal ball, this clearly seems to announce a presentation of several new products. Ideally, AMD Lisa Su could detail AMD’s end of the year with new information on Zen4 and Raphael (Ryzen 7000 processors) but also talk about the arrival of the Radeon RX 7000 series architecture (based on RDNA3).
